We provide endoscopic examinations with and without diagnostic testing. An endoscopy is performed with a flexible lighted tube with a lens to visualize, diagnose, and treat a condition involving the gastrointestinal tract.
Endoscopic services are usually completed in 2-3 hours, which includes the pre-procedure assessment, the procedure and the recovery time. The treating physician will provide you with a report of findings and plan for follow-up.

This process starts by assessing and evaluating each clients anthropometrics, current and past medical and surgical histories, social and family histories, food intake history, weight history, thoughts about food/weight/body image, current medications/supplements/herbs for interactions, exercise and lifestyle habits, lab markers for changes and trends, and completing visual and physical assessments for signs and symptoms of the various states of malnutrition or micro-nutrient deficiencies.
The development of individualized patient care plans may include short and long term goal setting, stress management, cognitive behavioral therapy about thoughts/ideas on food, weight and body image, diet modification and patient education, supplementation with medical foods, micro-nutrients, and if needed specialized nutrition support therapies like enteral (tube feeds) or parenteral (intravenous) nutrition. We will also refer clients to other health providers (physical therapists, psychotherapists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists etc.) as needed in assisting the client to meet their short and long term health and wellness goals.
